A battery changes both cost and savings
Published Cyprus guides put storage around €3,000–€8,000 for roughly 5–15 kWh. Capacity, usable energy, backup hardware and warranty have to be compared separately from the panel system.
Where the range comes from
The low and high price per kilowatt are stored as four anchors at 3, 5, 8 and 10 kW. The bill calculator interpolates between the same anchors and does not extrapolate beyond them.
Both sources are commercial market guides. That is weaker evidence than an official tariff or a set of verified quotes, so SolarCompare publishes a range and names the limitation.
