How SolarCompare helps you choose

Choosing a solar installer is difficult when company details are scattered across documents and websites. SolarCompare brings the useful facts into one place, so you can start with the needs of your own project.

We match your district, installation type and services to comparable company profiles. The official list and other public sources provide the evidence behind those profiles; they are sources for the comparison, not the product itself.

From project needs to a shortlist

  1. Confirmed starting point

The official registry supplies company names and identifiers.

  2. Useful detail

Public sources add confirmed services, areas and contacts.

  3. Comparable profiles

A consistent format lets you match, compare and contact companies directly.

What the MECI mark means

In MECI registry

The mark means one thing: the company is on the category A1 list of the state registry.

It is not a licence, not a certificate, not an inspection of the work done, and not a recommendation from us.

Companies on the list undertake to give a warranty of at least seven years. That is an obligation of the programme, the same for everyone, not a property of a particular company.

You can check any company yourself: open the list and find it by name or VAT number. The link opens the whole list, not a page of one company.

What we do not know

The name, VAT number, phone, email and website come from the registry. The address, service areas, services and installation types we collected ourselves from public sources. Some confirmed services are not shown yet: they have no codes in our data.

A missing field reflects the available source data. A field we could not confirm carries the «Data being verified» label and is never filled in with a guess. Nowhere do we state that a company does not provide a service — the data has no such value.
